Netease Motors June 27-The future and hope of instant car service has emerged in Japan in the form of two well-known Toyota vehicles: the flagship passenger car, Crown, and the new version of Corolla Sports released this year. Crown and Corolla Sport are the first generation of "networked cars" and are equipped with an in-vehicle data communication module(DCM) that connects the controller regional network(CAN). Using this hardware, Toyota can provide a variety of connection services to T-Connect users through a proprietary mobile service platform(MSPF). Looking ahead, Toyota plans to equip most new passenger vehicles with DCM in the Japanese market.
Or a DCM for multiple vehicles. Toyota will introduce new standards for networked cars.
"Our goal is to take advantage of uploading to our mobile service platform," said Shigeki, executive vice president and president of Toyota Connected Company
